California Veterinarians and Organizations Called to Support AB-2606: The Cat Protection Bill

Banning declawing has shown to be effective in protecting cats throughout the world. Historic arguments made by Veterinary Medical Associations like the California Veterinary Medical Association in the past have shown to be unfounded in those countries and municipalities that have successfully prohibited declawing. We must follow the science and work together to implement this compassionate legislation. This is the year we will finally protect cats in California by passing AB-2606.

Take Action Now and Be a Part of the Change!

We need support letters from businesses and organizations in California directed to the CA Assembly Business & Professions Committee. The hearing date is pending, but letters should be sent now because we want your organization listed in the bill analysis, which will be prepared by the state's committee consultant prior to the meeting.

Please note that we are POSITIVELY calling the bill the "Cat Protection Bill."

Please email signed, PDF support letters to maprea@apreamicheli.com, info@pawproject.org
