Our Honor is building an Expert Witness Network of veterinarians willing to use their knowledge to help protect animals from cruelty and neglect.
We are currently seeking veterinarians with experience in:
Farmed animals
Captive wildlife
Companion animals
Expert witnesses can play a critical role in animal protection work. A veterinarian may be asked to review records, evaluate photos or video, explain injuries or disease, assess standards of care, provide written opinions, support legal advocacy, or help investigators, journalists, policymakers, and advocates understand what animals are experiencing.
Animals need credible professionals who can interpret the evidence and explain the harm to law enforcement, judges, juries, and lawmakers.
Veterinarians are uniquely positioned to do that.
