Welcome to Episode 6 in our series of chats with vegan veterinarians! This month, we will be speaking with the remarkable, Dr. Sherstin Rosenberg.
A graduate of UC Davis College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Rosenberg has been proactive in challenging unethical systems in the veterinary field. She was instrumental in putting an end to terminal surgeries in her veterinary curriculum and continues to be a steadfast advocate for her animal patients, regardless of their species.
Her professional testimony has been critical in the acquittal of activists being prosecuted for rescuing sick and injured animals who were bred into the conventional food system.
As the perfect cherry on top, she also serves as the executive director of Happy Hen Animal Sanctuary, which offers a safe haven to several animal residents who now live their lives in peace and with dignity.
